== What is AnotherEidos R? ==
'''AnotherEidos of Dragon Vein R''' (龍脈のアナザーエイドスR) is a tower defense game with adult VN elements. It's main draw will be it's porn scenes, and it's gameplay only secondary. It features a cast of mostly gay male characters with a decent ratio between humans, anthros, orcs, goblins, and the like. They all have porn scenes that may not necessarily involve the main character and may present kinks that may not be for everyone. As for the tower defense aspect, it is mostly easygoing outside of certain challenge quests, and does not demand a lot of time for the player.

You can check [[Characters]] for the roster of available characters in the game, and you can check [[Interaction System|CGs]] to see if your desired character has their porn scene implemented or not.

== Creating an Account and Initial Gameplay ==
An account is required to play the game and is the means which your progression is bound. You bind an email to your account and you must verify it before being able to play.

=== Username ===
Once logging in, you will be prompted to enter your username. This will serve as the name for the  game's protagonist, [[Gaia]] as well. This can be changed later through the Settings Menu.   

=== Tutorials ===
The first set of stages are scripted stages that serves as tutorial for the game. It's important to note stages have descriptions that may also discuss game mechanics.

After 0-3, despite having multiple new nodes appear, only 0-4 is mandatory. Clearing 0-4 will unlock the rest of the game, and accessing the main menu for the first time will grant you a free x10 Edgar Freebie Tickets among other rewards, as well as your first daily login reward. You use the acquired tickets to on the game's [[Scouting (Gacha System)]]

==== Rerolling ====
If you're hoping to reroll accounts, the best practice is to use salted e-mails. You can log out via Main Menu>Settings> Support>Log Out>Confirm.

It takes less than 2 minutes to clear the mandatory tutorial (0-3) and skip stories (up to 0-4) in order to get your first 10 pull, and be able to log out.

== Gameplay Loop ==

* When logging-in for the day, you will receive daily [[Login Rewards]]. 

* You will be utilizing a resource called [[Stamina]], which regenerates 1 stamina/6 seconds, in order to play battle stages.
** You play stages in order to either progress the Main Storyline or Farm for event currency for on-going events.
*** Main Storyline quests are meant to be cleared only once and usually reward stamina recovery on first clear.
*** Event quests tend to be top priority especially when high value items are still unclaimed. Refer to [[Event Shop]] for more information.
** First time clearing of quests give you x1 Dragon Vein Stone, and if the quest has a challenge mode, an additional x1 Dragon Vein Stone is rewarded
*** Once you clear a battle quest with 3 stars, you'll able to use a Skip Ticket in order to skip combat in getting rewards.

* A common item drop called Flyers are also rewarded which can be used to scout low rarity units.
** Their dupes are typically best used to be converted into Ether and used in the ether shop which has various shop items that refresh over time. See [[Ether Exchange Shop]].
* You do battle content to farm gacha currency, as well as progression materials for your units. See [[Character Progression]] for additional info.

== Gacha Pull Currency ==
The main ways of summoning new characters are via Scouting using tickets or dragon stones, and using recruitment flyers. 

For info on the gacha system refer to [[Scouting (Gacha System)]], and for an idea on the pull currency and income refer to [[:Category:Pull Currency|Pull Currency]] and [[Pull Income]].

You ideally invest in [[Character Scouting]] first, and bother with [[Eidos Scouting]] and the entire [[Eidos System]] when you are in a much later stage in your game.
== Battle System ==
Generally, you will bring a party of at most 12 characters in combat. When it starts, you generate a resource called Cost, which you spend to deploy characters in eligible tiles. Your characters will combat incoming enemies spawning from their base (in red) or help support and sustain their allies. You have a certain number of Lives that you have to protect from enemies reaching your base, and expending all of them leads to the game being over. 

There is a star system that rates your performance for the battle. For normal combat, you gain a max of 3 stars. You lose a star when you lose one life or allow one character to die from an enemy attack. On Challenge maps, you gain 4 stars for completing it regardless of your performance. The goal of the fight is to keep enemies from killing any allies and keep enemies from leaking into your base (in blue).

== Quest Priority ==
The game will open up for you to go through its various content called Quests. There are three types: [[Main Storyline]] Quests, [[Exploration Quests]], and [[Event Quests]]. 

You can prioritize clearing content based on the following: 

* Currently on-going [[Event Quests|events]]. There is always an event running in the game, and it is the most cost-effective way to progress materials. You can refer to [[Event Shop]] for more info.
* [[Main Storyline]].
** A lot of early story quests provide free additional Staminade drinks you can use to clear more content. It also gives a few free units; some are not pullable.
** There are a few units gained for free in the main story that are worth investing in for the late game, namely Leonhart and Robin.
* Permanently open event, [[El Presidente]].
* [[Exploration Quests]] (for first clear, or if needed).

== Progression Priority ==
Since the game features a battle system that requires characters of different roles, it is more advisable to aim for horizontal progression than vertical progression at the start. For a better idea on how progression works see, [[Character Progression]]

* The most impactful investment is through levels, ranking up and reaching around Lv. 40 before the progression gets grindy.
* Most skills have impactful break points at slv. 4
* Eidoi and Proficiency are both late game investments and are not necessary.

== Team-building ==
First it is important to note what the different roles does a typical battle quest require in the game. Characters are sorted into classes, which suggest their primary niche in battle.
* [[Vanguard|Vanguards]], [[Fighter|Fighters]], and [[Guard|Guards]] are usually melee units placed on low ground that provide choke points for enemies, while [[Shooter|Shooters]] and [[Caster|Casters]] are usually ranged units placed on high ground solely to dish out damage and reach aerial enemies.
* [[Healer|Healers]] are high-ground units that solely recover allies' HP in their range.
* Lastly, [[Stranger|Strangers]] and [[Support|Supporters]] are a mixed bag of different units that provide unique buffs/debuffs or ways to deal damage.

In each class, there are exceptions, of course, such as [[Robin]], a [[Support|Supporter]] who can match the performance of a [[Healer]], or [[Kagura]], a [[Healer]] who can be placed on low ground.

A well-balanced team that can work for most stages usually involves around 2 [[Vanguard|Vanguards]] and 2 [[Healer|Healers]], and the rest, a mix of ranged and melee DPS (at least 2-3 for each.) Stalling via [[Guard|Guards]] is generally less optimal than bringing a unit with good DPS, like [[Fighter|Fighters]] or high-rarity [[Vanguard|Vanguards]]. It is also good to note that the difficulty of the game does not require too much optimal party composition as long as all typical niches are covered.

The free units the game provides are all considerably good, especially [[Leonhart]] and [[Robin]].
==Player Profile==
On your profile, you will see your basic player details. 

=== Friend Code ===
The friend code is the ID that appears above your name. You can search and add players only if you have the full ID.

Codes are not case-sensitive. Having someone on your Friends list will make them appear in your Support.

=== Support ===
To set a unit as a Support, go to your profile and press the wrench on support/skills. There is currently no reward for getting your support picked or using someone else's support.

Supports are units you can take with you for that battle. You will get a pool of random Supports from players of a similar player level to you if you have no friends or less than 20 that fill in empty spaces. After using a specific Support, there will be a cooldown, preventing you from using it again for a while. The Supports will stay the same until they are shuffled at a later time.

== Troubleshooting ==

* If any assets may appear broken or outright missing, Clearing Cache from the title menu (accessed from initial start up or through Settings.)
* If persistent error pop-ups related to connection quality or outright inability to download any thing consider the following:
** Changing from mobile to wired connection or vice-versa
** Using a VPN
* Some may encounter authentication errors in logging in after creating an account, even after verifying their account.
** It is a good chance their password may contain an illegal character. Avoid using non-alphabet or numeric characters in your password.
