Once in possession of a character, any subsequent summons of the character will be converted to "Memories," which are used for the proficiency system. These memories can either be used to upgrade a character's proficiency or be exchanged for ether via the [[Ether Exchange Shop]]. As for Eidoi, they are directly converted to ether.

==Premium Scouting ==
This is the typical way of obtaining characters, drawing from a pool of 3★ to 6★ characters with a few specified to have a +1% increased rate as their "pick-up rate." This rate draws from the pick-up rate of 3★.
 
Pick-ups give improved chances to scout particular characters by taking a 1% rate up from the 3★ appearance rate for each pick-up character. These banners usually come in pairs, with one coming out delayed by around a week. If there is a new character for a particular banner, it will be exclusive to that banner until it ends. Afterward, they will be part of the standard pool. Characters labeled as "Limited Time Only" are part of limited scouting and will only be available again once their banner reruns.
 
Due to how the rate up works, there is only roughly a 0.5% rate difference between a rate up to 6★ and a rate up to 5★.
 
Also, currently, there is no benefit to doing 10 pulls aside from convenience.

Eidoi are generally obtained through a dedicated scout banner. It uses the same pull currency as the character scouting.
Duplicate Eidos pulls are converted into Ether which is used in the [[Ether Exchange Shop]].

Generally, content difficulty-wise, most units are pretty capable of clearing content without the need of Eidoi. So the biggest draw of the banner is to access more stills exclusive to the system.
 
Since it's impact is not necessary to clear content, and competes with character pull currency, it is not recommended to go all in.
 
At the very least, do enough pulls in order for your party to be fully slotted with Eidoi, even in most cases it is simply an HP bump.
